Director of Volunteers

The Volunteers Director shall:

Assess volunteer needs of programs, projects, and other Chapter activities, with input from the individual Officers / Directors on their specific needs
Recruit new volunteers from current and potential members, and assess skills and interests
Place volunteers in programs, project, and activities needing assistance
Serve as volunteer “cheerleader” to encourage ongoing commitment
Coordinate volunteers to welcome new members and visitors to PFLAG meetings, in cooperation with the Membership Director
Arrange for refreshments to be available at in-person meetings
Perform such other duties that from time to time may be assigned by the Board of Directors
